Mixed Open August 2016

On Sunday 28th August, Lilleshall Hall hosted the tenth and last of its 2016 Open Competitions. Despite heavy rain the day before, 27 teams (108 competitors) enjoyed good weather and course conditions.

The results were as follows;

1st – Laura Morris, Jane O’Brien, Martin Cooke & Pete Bromley (Arscott) – 82 points

2nd – Jane Carr, Julie Napier, David Carr, Andy Napier (LHGC ) – 81 points

3rd – Liz Betts, Liz Blake, Paul Murray, Steve Blake (Moor Hall & Walmley) – 80 points

4th – Jenny Thomas, Margaret Hopkins, Dave Thomas, George Atkinson (LHGC) – 77 points

Prior to presenting the prizes to the winning teams, Club Captain Will Schofield thanked all the Lilleshall Hall members who have helped run the Open Competitions this year – including the starters, those on the Reception Desk and the members of Competitions and Handicaps Committee who set up and manage the competitions.
