Ladies’ newsletter – January 2016

Published by admin on

Please find our January newsletter, from Lady Captain Sue.

  • Very Happy New Year to one and all. What a successful New Year’s Evening we shared, the room looked amazing, the entertainment was second to none and our compere/MC Snax did a wonderful job, with great support from Alex and the rest of the Social Committee.  We started the evening with tasty canapes and sparkling wine followed by a lovely meal and wine served by our trusty Bar staff. We danced into the early hours, all really tired and looking forward to a good 2016.
  • Can I invite you to come and help take down the decorations on Monday 4th after 10.30 and share a coffee and some social time to get us into the swing of 2016?
  • We’re going to the Dogs! The Poster is up, so sign up for an evening of good company, three course meal, coach and some betting – cost £31 per person – to be paid at the Bar – Thursday 18th February. See Lynne if you have any queries.
  • Dates for your diaries –

29th March – Jan Seal Fashion Show

19th May – Swindon Awayday

Further Fun Competitions for January and February will be on the noticeboard.

Eclectic continues until end of March

Round Robin still ongoing

The Breakfast Short game is still happening but with some changes

County Junior Coffee morning – 17th February, please support our Juniors

The Committee and I thank you for all the support this past year and may this continue for the success of our Club.

Sue
