Junior Competitions will be played in two groups
WHS handicapped juniors will be eligible for 18-hole trophy competitions &
Coaches Handicapped Juniors will be offered 9-hole competition experience, with alternative prize
2024 Season beginning April.
There are 14 Junior competitions scheduled for 2024 held mainly on Sundays from 12.30pm following the junior coaching. You need to have a WHS H/C to enter. Those highlighted in Blue on the below chart are all prestigious major competitions with trophies and or honours board recognition. If you need time on the course to get a Handicap it is possible to play on these dates following the main competition, however you must be accompanied by an adult with a WHS handicap to mark your card.

Junior Championship Medal rounds over 1or 2 days 27or36holes
The following prestigious events do not have honours boards; however, they provide the ultimate club experience for competitive golf.
Captain’s Weekend: Captains Junior medal Prize
President’s Platter: 18 hole Stableford
Consistency cup: Best score over the Junior medal competitions
